Installation of Officers and St. George Lodge Visit

At 7:30pm this Saturday, November 13th, John W. Barkley Lodge will hold its 98th Annual Installation of Officers for the 2011 Masonic year. This is a very special event and we invite all of our members and families to join us as we celebrate a new year.

This also is our third consecutive visit from our Brethren of St. George Lodge #367, located in Toronto, Ontario. This wonderful tradition was inherited through our recent merger with Cornerstone Lodge. Every year the Lodges visit each other during their respective Installation of Officers. This tradition has been in existence for over 60 years. To learn more about the history of the tradition, please read this wonderful article posted on the St. George Lodge website: http://www.stgeorgelodge367.ca/docs/60_years_of_fraternal_friendship.pdf. To learn more about their Lodge you can visit their website here: http://www.stgeorgelodge367.ca/pages/home.html.

We will have a hospitality suite on Friday and Saturday for our visitors and our Brothers and their families to enjoy. Please contact the Master for more information.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday.
